Where will you be working? We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers. Want to be a part of it? What will you be doing? You’ll be instrumental in supporting the repair and maintenance team responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Yorkshire Water's clean water distribution system. Your remit will be to maintain vehicle, plant and equipment to ensure they are fit for use. You'll work on our maintenance contract in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and we'll need you to lead a team of dedicated professionals responsible for the water network's operational tasks to high standards. You'll be entrusted with maintaining equipment and ensuring everything is up to industry standards. What You’ll Bring Do you hold National Roads & Streetworks - Minimum signing, lighting & guarding? Have you got a valid UK driving licence with BE? Do you hold a Water Shea and EUSR national water hygiene accreditation? Are you able to work unsociable hours and undertake standby duties? Have you got your EUSR CAT 1 & CAT 2 - safe digging & locate utilities? What’s in it for you?
