Role: Team Leader Location: Exeter Salary: £13.65 per hour Welcome Bonus: £250 for new starters (T&Cs apply) Make a Difference Every Day United Response is looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our supported living services in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, including Deaf individuals, both in their homes and in the local community. We deliver person-centred, empowering care that helps each individual achieve their goals and aspirations. What you’ll be doing • Supporting the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service • Providing direct, hands-on support to the people we support • Supervising staff, managing rotas, and overseeing support plans • Liaising with families, professionals, and external agencies • Ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained What we’re looking for • Confidence in mentoring and supporting team members • Strong organisational and communication skills • IT literacy and ability to manage administrative tasks • A full UK driving licence • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and occasional sleep-ins • Experience supporting Deaf people, or a willingness to learn sign language, is highly valued What you’ll get in return • 20 days’ paid annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata for part time) – increasing with service • 2 additional paid Wellbeing Days each year • Fully paid training and access to recognised qualifications • Pension contribution • Cycle to work scheme and season ticket loan • Occupational health, counselling, and wellbeing services • Life assurance scheme (2x basic salary) • Staff discounts and Blue Light Card eligibility If you’re passionate about empowering others, growing your leadership skills, and making a real difference in people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.
