Job Description First-Class Science Graduate | Havering | ASAP Start Are you a First-Class Science Graduate interested in becoming a specialised Science Support Assistant? We are looking to speak with high-achieving Science Graduates who want to gain classroom-based experience before beginning Teacher Training, or who wish to use their specialist subject knowledge in a school setting. We are seeking an aspiring teacher to undertake the role of Science Academic Mentor in a top Secondary School in Havering. First-Class Science Graduate | About the Role Term-time-only position Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm Earn up to £105 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) | Paid weekly in arrears via PAYE Large Secondary School in Havering Supporting students from Year 7 through to Year 13, including high achievers applying to top universities Working alongside an experienced team of teachers and support staff Providing classroom support, 1:1 sessions and small-group interventions Supporting students of all abilities with equal care and high expectations First-Class Science Graduate | About You A First-Class Science degree from a Top 20 UK University Strong A-Level and GCSE results to support your academic profile An interest in progressing into Teacher Training, a PGCE, or a long-term role working with children Ability to support learning up to KS5 (desirable) Previous tutoring experience is advantageous Passionate about supporting students from diverse backgrounds in an inclusive environment We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and adaptable First-Class Science Graduate who wants to work collaboratively across a large school campus in Havering.
