Our stores operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering a variety of shift patterns. The role requires flexible working, including weekend shifts.
Your responsibilities include accurately assembling and processing prescriptions, collecting prescriptions from doctors' surgeries, and driving awareness of Pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
You will support the Pharmacist in delivering patient services (e.g., blood pressure checks, stop‑smoking schemes) and maintain effective record‑keeping. You will develop an understanding of the strict Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to them consistently.
Within six months you will complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant, after which you will train as a Dispensing Assistant, progressing your pharmacy training and career.
