Position Title: Adult Education Tutor (Vocational)
Directorate: Children, Young People and Partnerships
Location: Croft Street hub
Contract Status: Fixed Term until 27th June 2026
Hours of Work: 26 hours
Salary: Based on 26 hours over 39 weeks per year, the minimum actual salary for this position is £26,034.84 per annum. Successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale, in accordance with Midlothian Council policy.
Regulated Work: This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children. Successful candidates will require PVG Scheme membership for Regulated Work with Children and Adults, which must be obtained prior to employment. The cost will be met by the applicant.
