Job Description:
We have been engaged by a reputable and long-standing Building & Civil Engineering Contractor who, due to a period of sustained growth, have a requirement for an ARCHITECT to join their team on a permanent basis.
The business acts as both Main Contractor and Sub-Contractor to deliver a wide range of Concrete and Civil Engineering Works, as well as Commercial Buildings. The role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to progress your career with further training and development. You will be involved in everything from feasibility studies to project delivery.
Responsibilities:
•\tCarrying out feasibility studies and site surveys
•\tPreparing preliminary designs and technical drawings
•\tLiaising with clients, consultants, and contractors
•\tProducing planning applications, building regulations, and construction drawings
•\tPreparing pre-construction information and documentation
•\tManaging projects from concept to completion.
Essential Criteria:
•\tHighly proficient in AutoCAD
•\t2–3 years' experience in a similar role
•\tStrong technical knowledge and construction detailing skills.
•\tSolid understanding of UK building regulations.
•\tExcellent communication and organisational skills
•\tStrong problem-solving abilities
•\tFull, clean driving licence
