Your new role
You’ll take ownership of aplex portfolio of entities, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of corporation taxputations and disclosures. You’ll lead on direct taxpliance projects. Acting as deputy to the Head of Direct Taxes, you’ll provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to both junior team members and wider finance stakeholders. Your remit will also include managing quarterly cash tax forecasts, statutory tagging processes, and contributing to the development of internal controls and data quality improvements.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll be a qualified tax professional (CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with a strong background in corporate tax and financial accounting. You will have a working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP reporting standards. You’ll be confident in managingplex taxputations, coaching others, andmunicating technical matters to non-specialists. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to challenge and improve processes are key to succeeding in this role.
