Due to continued investment in manufacturing innovation, they are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Assembly Engineer to support critical technology and improvement projects.THE MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING INDUSTRIAL ASSEMBLY ENGINEER ROLEAs a Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Assembly Engineer, you will play a key role in researching, developing, and deploying new drilling and fastening technologies to support wing manufacturing at the Broughton plant. You will combine strong technical expertise with project management capability to deliver new equipment, improve processes, and support manufacturing operations.Key responsibilities include:Deployment and support of semi-automated and manual drilling & fastening equipmentDefining and developing new assembly processes and equipmentProviding technical support to existing machinery and manufacturing operationsLeading and supporting continuous improvement and EHS projectsManaging capital investment projects and leading multi-functional teamsInterfacing with internal stakeholders, transnational teams, and external suppliersDelivering productivity improvements and supporting ME communitiesESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCEStrong technical background in shop floor manufacturing processesExperience with drilling and/or fastening processes (preferred)Understanding of aircraft wing build processesExperience supporting semi-automated and manual equipmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work effectively across cross-functional teamsWell-organised with strong attention to detailDegree-level qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering is desirableTO BE CONSIDEREDPlease apply via this advert or email ryan.baker@searchability.com directly.
