To provide comprehensive Administrative and Clerical support to clinical and non-clinical staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the service.

Responsibilities and requirements
* Educated to standard grade level or experience in a similar role
* Well developed interpersonal skills in customer care
* Excellent communication skills
* Good organisational and planning skills
* Understanding of a range of procedures and processes
* Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative whilst under pressure
* Proficient IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft packages
* Ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times
Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
It would be great if you also have
* Secretarial or audio typing qualification or equivalent
* Previous experience creating and maintaining a filing system
* Working knowledge of SSTS & PECOS
* Audio typing experience
* Working knowledge of filing/retrieval and archiving records
* Telephony skills

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.
Location and working pattern
This role will be based in Admin & Clerical within HMP Shotts.
The working pattern is:
* Monday - 9.30am-1.30pm
* Tuesday - Friday 9.30am-12.30pm
