Glascoed, Wales, BAE Systems
Hourly Rate:
£22.69 PAYE or £30.41 Umbrella
Duration:
12 months
Working Arrangements:
3 days on site per week
What you'll be doing
Providing expert advice and guidance on safety compliance, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
Supporting incident investigations and recommending preventative measures.
Conducting audits, inspections, and safety briefings across operations.
Collaborating with operational teams to embed safety into day-to-day activities.
Supporting the delivery of SHE training and awareness programmes.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our safety performance.
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a safety-focused role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or defence.
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent); working toward a Diploma or higher is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage colleagues at all levels.
