Description
Nursery Room Leader (Level 3)
Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
Salary: Starting from £29,536.00 per annum (dependent on qualification(s) and experience)
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting your team to grow and perform at a high standard, whilst ensuring that all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to
* Engaging your team to create inspirational, creative and effective learning environments in line with the needs of the children and the nursery
* Ensuring the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures
* Implementing the EYFS with a good understanding of child development
* Reporting issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services
* Partnering with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive
* Maintaining a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to sustain a happy nursery environment
* Maintaining clear and accurate record keeping and report writing
* Promoting a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment and resources in line with our nursery expectations
Essentials
* Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
* Safeguarding Knowledge
* At least 2 years’ experience working as a nursery practitioner or in a similar Early Years setting
