We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a water treatment plant team in Stourbridge. This permanent role offers stable, long-term employment working on essential water infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment within a water treatment environment
Working on pumps, valves, pipework, motors, and associated plant machinery
Ensuring all work complies with health & safety standards and site procedures
Fault-finding and carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
Supporting ongoing upgrades and site improvement worksRequirements:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter
Previous experience in water treatment or heavy industrial environments (advantageous)
Strong mechanical knowledge across pumps, valves, and rotating equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
