M4 Specialist are recruiting for a Night Manager who holds an in-date HGV 1 licence for our Client a distribution company based in Hemel Hempstead who are looking to expand their team. This client operate 24 hours a day/364 days a year. Salary £40,000 which is negotiable depending on experience. 28 days holiday Role Overview: As a Night Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing night time operations, ensuring smooth and efficient deliveries, and managing a team of drivers alongside going out on a delivery as and when required to do so. Key Responsibilities: * Drive Class 1 and 2 vehicles on a night shift. * Supervise and coordinate the night driving team. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. * Optimize routes and schedules for efficiency. * Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during the night. Requirements: * Valid Class 1 and 2 driving licenses with CPC & Tacho up to date. * Proven experience in night driving and team management. * Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills. * Good knowledge of Southeast UK locations and routes. * Flexibility to work five nights a week with overtime opportunities.
