The Role We are seeking a Technical Designer / Architect with strong design sensibility and proven technical delivery experience. The successful candidate will be able to take ownership of projects from RIBA Stage 3 onwards, managing consultant coordination, producing detailed drawing packages, and confidently leading site delivery. This role suits a self-motivated, detail-driven designer with a passion for design integrity and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage projects from Stage 3 (Developed Design) through to completion including tender, technical design packages, site coordination, and installation. Organise daily workload, manage deadlines, schedule and lead meetings, and provide regular project updates to directors. Prepare and coordinate comprehensive design and technical drawing packages to a high standard. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure technical and design accuracy. Lead, mentor, and support junior designers, reviewing and marking up drawings. Confidently run projects on site, resolving issues and maintaining design intent through construction. Participate in internal design and peer reviews, promoting best practice and quality assurance. Essential Qualifications & Experience Eligibility to work in the UK. A good degree or equivalent in Interior Architecture, or Architecture. 4-6 years experience with a strong understanding of both creative and technical processes. Comprehensive knowledge of RIBA work stages, particularly Stages 3–6. Strong understanding of construction procedures, documentation, and detailing. Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning, and fire regulations. Experience in commercial workplace interiors. Proficiency in Revit (essential). Skilled in SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively under pressure. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work independently.
