Senior Infrastructure Cloud Architect, Professional Services
As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will contribute with presales and lead complex projects as a Delivery Technical Leader, often involving multiple Amazon and customer teams. You will lead and enable them by applying Amazon Day 1 culture and developing technical expertise to deliver solutions tailored to their business needs.
You will work with customers and partners supporting them through planning, prioritization, and delivery of complex transformation initiatives, while collaborating with relevant Sales and Service Teams. You will help create and apply frameworks, methods, best practices, and artifacts that deliver prescriptive guidance to customers, and publish and present them in large forums and across various media platforms. You will provide guidance regarding customers’ technical architecture and investments, maximizing alignment with the AWS platform, and ease of adoption as new services and products become available. You will work towards customer business outcomes, ensuring there is a strong connection between delivery activities and business objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Multiple years of IT implementation experience in customer-facing roles
• Track record as a technical leader driving engagements and guiding customer investment decisions
• Experience driving discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation
• Experience driving presales with senior customer stakeholders in collaboration with internal teams
• Hands-on programming/scripting experience to drive the design, development, and deployment of business software infrastructure at scale
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• BS level technical degree with Computer Science or Math background
• Proven track record of implementing AWS services in large scale cloud migrations and highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise software deployments
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g., security, privacy, SOX, ISO, HIPAA, etc.)
• AWS Certifications, e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
