About the Role: We are actively recruiting for a new role to enhance our bidding team, reporting to the Head of BIDS & Marketing. Successful applicants will work on multi-sector submissions (Local Government, Retail, Education, Health, Highways, Utilities). The role requires multitasking and managing several submissions simultaneously in a high-pressure environment with deadlines. The primary focus is to produce successful submissions within the agreed timescale, and you will conduct client and competitor analysis as part of the process.
Location: Eccles
Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Identifying opportunities by reviewing contract notices and adverts/invites to identify opportunities of interest to the business.
* Bid/No-Bid process — conducting a full Bid/No-Bid process for each opportunity with the wider team.
* Responsibility from receipt until submission of all stages (EoI, PQQ, RTI, ITT, ITN, RFP) for both existing and new clients.
* Working with the wider business to obtain/compile content and write technical answers.
* Working with the sales team on the completion of the commercial aspects of the bids.
* Managing own workload and multiple submissions at once, ranging from £10,000 to £10 million+ in value depending on services and contract duration.
Experience
* Past experience of the bid process at the same level.
* Experience in the utility industry would be an advantage.
* Excellent written and verbal English skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
* Experience of multitasking in a high-pressure environment.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Excellent IT, organisational, and administrative skills.
