We offer a 3-year graduate development programme aimed at developing personal, professional, and technical skills. The role involves working under the supervision of Environmental Managers on major UK infrastructure projects, contributing to sustainability strategies and ensuring environmental standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in writing and reviewing environmental documentation, including Environmental Management Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
* Support the development of briefing and communication strategies for environmental plans.
* Monitor compliance of construction works with relevant standards and documentation.
* Assist in preparing environmental and sustainability reports for senior management.
* Support investigations and audits related to environmental and sustainability issues.
* Advise on environmental best practices and promote continuous improvement and innovation.
* Promote customer requirements and uphold Ferrovial Construction UK Vision and Values.
* Take ownership of assigned tasks and adhere to safety regulations on-site.
Skills and Competence:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English.
* Degree or Master's in any discipline.
* Motivated, proactive, and a strong team player.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Commercial awareness and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Interpersonal Skills:
* Highly motivated, resilient, and flexible.
* Logical thinker with a willingness to learn.
* Results-driven with strong communication skills.
* Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
* Conscious of environmental impact.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Knowledge of Health and Safety and environmental legislation.
* Environmental experience and CSCS Card.
Essential Requirements:
* Right to work in the UK for the duration of the programme.
