We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Chorley for a skilled KS2 Class Teacher to work in Lower Key Stage 2. This short‑term contract is ideal for an experienced practitioner who enjoys delivering engaging lessons and building positive relationships with pupils.
The successful candidate will join a friendly, supportive team dedicated to delivering high‑quality learning opportunities. You will take full class responsibility and contribute to the wider life of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering the KS2 curriculum to a high standard
* Supporting the academic and personal development of pupils
* Maintaining excellent behaviour and learning routines
* Monitoring progress and providing clear, effective feedback
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency across the phase
About You:
* Strong, proven experience teaching within KS2
* Confident working within Lower Key Stage 2
* Effective communicator with strong organisational skills
* Able to deliver consistently high‑quality teaching
* Not suitable for ECT candidates
