Teaching Personnel’s Sheffield branch is recruiting passionate Subject Specialist Teachers to work across a number of supportive partner secondary schools in Sheffield. We are particularly interested in teachers with specialisms in English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Design Technology (DT), Performing Arts, Modern Foreign Languages (MFL), and Physical Education (PE).
This Subject Specialist Teacher opportunity is ideal for qualified teachers or ECTs who are passionate about their subject and committed to delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role
As a Subject Specialist Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons within your subject specialism
Teach students across Key Stages 3 and 4
Support subjects including English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, DT, Performing Arts, MFL, and PE
Maintain positive classroom behaviour and engagement
Monitor progress and provide feedback to students
Work closely with colleagues to support learning
About You
We are looking for a Subject Specialist Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
Has strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, DT, Performing Arts, MFL, or PE
Demonstrates confident classroom management skills
Is adaptable, organised, and professional
Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service or is willing to apply
