Overview
We're looking for a Workshop Assistant to help make sure our welfare units are clean, safe, and up to standard before they go out to customers. You'll be part of a small team, taking care of cleaning, checking quality, fixing small issues, and reporting anything that needs bigger repairs.
What you'll do
* Clean welfare units inside and out so they're ready for use.
* Check units against our quality standards and sign them off when they meet the mark.
* Do small repairs and touch-ups (e.g., fittings, seals, basic fixes).
* Flag and report any problems or damage that need more work.
* Keep the workshop tidy, safe, and organised.
* Work closely with the team to make sure units are ready on time.
What we're looking for
* Practical, hands-on skills and willing to learn.
* Good eye for detail and pride in doing a thorough job.
* Able to follow instructions and stick to quality standards.
* Team player with good communication.
* Reliable, with a "can-do" attitude.
* Some experience in cleaning, repairs, or workshop work is helpful but not essential.
Working Conditions
* Based in the workshop, with some work outdoors when needed.
* Role involves physical tasks such as cleaning, lifting, and using tools.
* PPE (personal protective equipment) will be provided and must be worn when required.
* Work is team-based but you'll also need to manage your own tasks.
* Standard hours with occasional flexibility to meet deadlines.
* Full training will be provided

Pay: £25,480.00-£26,312.00 per year
