As a specialist recruitment consultant working closely with a well-established planning consultancy, I'm currently supporting the search for a Senior Town Planner to join their growing team in Milton Keynes.

The Role
You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality planning advice across a broad range of developments, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes. The position offers a strong balance of technical work, client interaction, and mentoring of junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and delivering planning applications from inception through to determination
Providing strategic planning advice to clients and stakeholders
Preparing planning statements, appeals, and supporting documentation
Leading client meetings and liaising with local authorities
Supporting and mentoring junior planners within the teamAbout You
I'm keen to speak with planners who have:
A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
MRTPI (or working towards chartered status with significant experience)
Strong experience within a consultancy or local authority environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
