Job Description

A top-tier International law firm is looking to appoint a senior Planning Solicitor (7+ PQE) into its highly respected Planning & Regeneration team, based in Leeds. This is a senior-level opportunity with a clear path to progression, working on some of the most complex and high-profile development projects in the country.

The opportunity:

* Join one of the UK’s largest planning teams, advising on nationally significant development and regeneration schemes
* Act for a broad mix of clients across the living sector, logistics, energy and major urban regeneration, including many of the largest developers and infrastructure players in the market
* Be involved in the full lifecycle of development, from strategic planning advice and project finance support through to delivery and post-consent matters
* Work on nationally complex planning and infrastructure matters including DCOs, judicial reviews, EIA, section 106 and highways agreements and planning appeals

The role:

1. Lead and manage complex planning matters across the firm’s national client base
2. Support the wider Development & Regeneration sub-group across offices and collaborate with lawyers from real estate, corporate and finance
3. Take a hands-on role in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the team
