Our Sunderland site manages repairs for a wide range of LCV and HGV vehicles, covering all makes, models, manufacturers, body builds, and construction types. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) t o join our professional team. The Role As a VDA, you will: Accurately inspect and assess damaged Commercial Vehicles requiring repair. Prepare professional and precise estimates using Audatex. Calculate repair costs and time requirements accurately. Produce detailed damage assessments in line with BSI 10125 standards. Ensure correct repair methods are specified in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Work in full compliance with Health & Safety regulations. Communicate effectively with technicians, insurers, and customers to ensure clarity and efficiency throughout the repair process. Maintain the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The role covers a broad range of Commercial Vehicles including both LCV and HGV types, a cross all makes, models, body builds, and construction methods. Requirements Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA), ideally within a commercial vehicle environment. Strong working knowledge of Audatex estimating systems. Good understanding of BSI 10125 standards and manufacturer repair methods. Experience assessing both LCV and HGV vehicles. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational and communication skills. ATA accreditation (desirable but not essential).
