We are seeking a passionate individual to improve our operations and deliver more for the environment. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will analyze user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with service vision and business strategy. You will facilitate the connection between current and future business models and contribute to the business architecture. Constructive challenge and acting as a critical friend will be key to achieving fit-for-purpose solutions. You will collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, supporting design, build, and delivery to meet user needs. You will also lead initiatives to improve the Business Analysis Service, support colleagues, and shape work scopes.
The team:
The Business Analysis Service primarily supports the Chief Regulator Group, leading various change initiatives. Our mission is to enable colleagues through insightful analysis to maximize opportunities and resources, making informed decisions that contribute to better places for people and wildlife and promote sustainable development. We support flexible working to promote work-life balance and reduce our carbon footprint.
Experience/skills Required:
* Leadership: Strong guiding skills, project leadership, and stakeholder influence.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for conveying findings and recommendations.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience engaging senior stakeholders for project alignment.
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems and identify opportunities.
* Project Delivery: Experience managing analytical products like requirements catalogues, impact assessments, and business process models.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications:
* Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications in business analysis.
* Ability to switch tasks/projects quickly to support business needs.
* Experience working in Agile or GDS environments.
* Leading refinement sessions and sharing skills for continuous professional development.
