Global leaders in the development and manufacture of high performance products for academic, industrial andernment applications within an electrical manufacturing environment. They have some ambitious growth plans over the next few years and are aiming to bolster their manufacturing engineering team further to amodate this.
Your new role
You will be joining the team as a Manufacturing Engineer. You will be tasked with overseeing and supporting all production on the floor, alongside optimising all existing space within the floor. You will oversee two other teams to carry this out and provide innovative, efficiency-based solutions to the site. You will be in charge of the more general planning for optimising the lines, but this role will also require helping alongside the product line itself.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a BEng qualification in Manufacturing or Mechanical engineering, or with at least 3 years working in a similar role. Experience with Lean techniques is important and previous experience supporting growth is a key skill. You will need to have strongmunication skills tomunicate across teams and possess an eagerness to think creatively and analyse setbacks to drive forward continuous improvement.
