Responsibilities
* We are actively hiring for professional and experienced Care Assistants to join our team.
* FT role available for 38.5 hours per week. Flexibility to work as per rota is required.
* Ensure that the needs of residents are met in a patient and caring manner.
* Assist residents with dressing, personal hygiene, and toileting when required, respecting residents’ right to exercise choice in all areas of their life.
* Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities to move freely within the Home.
* Contribute to information used in care plans with residents and their families, and implement care as agreed, respecting residents’ right to exercise choice.
* Provide a high standard of care and service at all times.
* Promote mental and physical activity for residents through conversation, companionship, escorting on outings, and supporting hobbies and interests inside and outside the Home.
* Report changes in residents’ condition or any concerns to the Senior Care Assistant/Manager on duty.
* Ensure written reports are accurate and legible.
* Participate in staff meetings and training activities as required.
* Respond to emergency bells and involve senior staff when needed; greet visitors politely and warmly.
* Follow health and safety at work initiatives and undertake any additional duties as requested by the Senior Care Assistant/Deputy in charge.
Qualifications And Skills
* Qualified SVQ/NVQ level in Health and Social Care
* Satisfactory CRB/DBS checks
* Experience or qualification in care for relevant client category (Elderly Care)
