Working closely with the Senior Buyer and other stakeholders within the business, theKey responsibilities are:
Assisting in purchasing key services and products for the business
Building strong supplier relationships
Evaluating supplier performance
Researching new suppliers and identifying cost savings
Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure the right goods and services are purchased
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, using the ERP system
Ideal Candidate Experience in procurement orpurchasing is essential although there is room to grow in the role.
Strong organisationand communication skills
Team-oriented with a flexible approach to working hours
Experience inmanufacturing, engineering or similar sector would be advantageous but not essential
