A Marketing Manager for an independent, boutique agency with loads of flexibility to accommodate part-time or full-time applications.
Two things stand out; First, it's the people and culture - a really close feel. You can tell when you see them working together, in the honesty they talk with and the pragmatism in everything. For them this is about getting a person who can do the work that needs to be done. It doesn't matter whether that's someone more senior working on a 3 or 4 day basis, doing school hours, or a full-time person but perhaps still developing. They're also flexible about where you work too as long as you're happy to travel into the Tadcaster office to build relationships with the team and are relatively local to Yorkshire.
The second thing is the nature of the work. The business is an agency providing services to marketing, internal communications, and events teams. They work with high profile global brands to more regionally based businesses. You'll be respected as the marketing expert in the business and given the freedom to run marketing as you see fit.
Frequently used channels tend to be web, social, video content, case study distribution, marketing collateral and assets online and offline as well as email marketing through HubSpot CRM.
This role is initially being recruited as a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave but there could be scope for the role to continue longer term. There's a real appetite to utilise this opportunity to bring in an experienced person who can shape new thinking, ideas and processes that will pave the way for further success of marketing in future.
About You:
* Experienced B2B services marketer available to commit to a fixed term contract position.
* Confident independently leading marketing strategy and able to report results and shape sales through marketing.
* Experience and appreciation of video content creation, either directly or through third parties.
* Understanding of marketing a creative business would be advantageous.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Crafting a strategic marketing plan to support the business in achieving their growth goals.
* Owning the delivery of all marketing activity to drive sales leads.
* Managing freelancers and external partners to produce consistently high quality marketing assets.
* Regularly creating content in multiple formats (including video) and distributing through multiple channels.
How You'll Be Rewarded:
A budget of c£35,000 is available - that could be a full time salary for someone or if you're more experienced but looking for part-time work could allow up to a c£55k FTE salary to be paid 3 days per week.

Where You'll Be Based:
Hybrid and flexible working is very much available. Within reason if you're locally based and able to commit at least approximately 3 days worth of time then most circumstances could be considered.
The office is based between Leeds and York so you'll really want a car to be able to commute as there's no train station nearby.
