Office Services Operator

Salary: £28,860 per annum, plus company benefits

Location: London, EC2N 4AG

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7.5 hour shifts between the hours of 8am until 5pm, with occasional weekend cover required.

Work model: Fully onsite

Williams Lea seeks an Office Services Operator to join our team!

Purpose of role

The role of Office Services Operator is to provide a professional print and mail room service to all clients and contractors. With excellent customer services skills, the office services operator will assist the client to meet deadlines, producing a high standard of work, putting the customer/client first and foremost while helping to run an efficient service.

Key responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Reprographics: Scan, print and copy documents for the client making sure work is quality checked and sent back correctly.
2. Post Duties: Deal with incoming post. Sort and scan everything and e-mail to the relevant departments.
3. Deal with outgoing post by Franking/Royal Mail click and crop.
4. Book couriers and deal with incoming couriers quickly and efficiently.
5. Build relationship with clients and manage their perceptions and expectations.
6. Support colleagues and work as a team in order to achieve the best results for clients.
7. Comply with departmental procedures.
8. Assist with stationery. Check and stock cupboards, record items that need ordering.
9. Records Management

Personal attributes

10. A willing and enthusiastic attitude.
11. Good PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
12. Previous Post room and Reprographics experience would be preferable but not essential.
13. Good customer service skills.
14. Able to think outside the box and make decisions if required in the absence of the Team Leader or Senior Operator.
15. Able to handle difficult situations well and to act appropriately
16. Display an adaptable and flexible approach.
17. Team player – not only within their team but personable and will help out wherever required to get the job done.
