This role carries responsibility for managing invoicing, debt collection, and cashiering processes across both UK and overseas operations. With five direct reports, this is a people-focused leadership role that combines operational delivery, system expertise, and process improvement. Leading the Sales Ledger and Cashiers team (5 staff), ensuring clear objectives, performance management, training, and development. Owning the customer invoicing process for UK and overseas clients, ensuring amounts are billed accurately and collected within credit terms. Investigating overdue accounts, escalating where necessary, and working closely with commercial managers, legal advisors, and regulators. Managing the billing and collection service provided to overseas governments, including accurate income distribution. Overseeing day-to-day cashiering, bank transactions, reconciliations, and reporting, in partnership with Treasury.
