Teacher of Computer Science Vacancy
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Computer Science to join a supportive and dynamic educational team in the Horsham area. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator to make a measurable contribution to whole‑school success and student progress.
The Role
Responsibilities
* Providing effective teaching and leading pupil learning in line with schemes of work and policies.
* Teaching and Learning: Using a variety of teaching methods, including active learning and ICT, to match curricular objectives and the diverse needs of pupils.
* Curriculum Development: Contributing to the creation and consistent implementation of effective schemes of work. Must have a thorough and up‑to‑date knowledge of the National Curriculum programmes of study and specifications for relevant examination courses.
* Assessment and Progress: Responsible for the processes of identification, assessment, recording and reporting for students in your charge. Includes tracking pupil progress and using data analysis to inform practice and raise standards.
* Pastoral Care: Participating in pastoral responsibilities and acting as a positive role model to students through professional conduct and presentation.
* School Community: Attending Parents Consultation Evenings, contributing to enrichment opportunities and establishing effective working relationships with colleagues and parents.
