Female Complex Care Assistant
Location: Pocklington, York
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Shifts: Sunday 9pm-9am plus bank days & nights
Zero‑hours contract

Key Responsibilities
* Providing personal and clinical care, including gastrostomy care, medication administration, and rescue medication
* Performing oral and deep suctioning as required
* Supporting chest physiotherapy and the use of Cough Assist automatic devices
* Assisting with non‑invasive ventilation (NIV) in line with care plans
* Delivering high‑quality pressure area care and monitoring skin integrity
* Supporting and responding to epilepsy and seizure management, including emergency protocols
* Monitoring the child’s condition and escalating concerns appropriately
* Creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment
* Building positive, professional relationships with the child and family
* Following individualised care plans, clinical guidance, and risk assessments
What You’ll Need
* Some experience within a care or support role
* Experience in complex care (not essential – full training provided)
* A kind, patient, and flexible approach
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role
* Full UK driving licence (essential due to location)
