As a Custody Asset Servicing Analyst within the Global Custody Asset Servicing Team, you will learn and gain exposure to all corporate and income-related events across all asset classes, including collections, announcements capture, corporate actions processing, income processing, proxy and controls, entitlement completion, payment processing, claims management. You will work within a dynamic team to complete BAU work and potentially contribute to specialised projects and implementations where relevant.
Job responsibilities
* Complete timely and accurate capture and input of all client corporate action instructions daily, according to event and market requirements.
* Execute instructions promptly and accurately in in-house systems and onward to the market, including confirmation and reconciliation of agent and market confirmations.
* Maintain clear and well-documented communication with sub-custodians, agents, brokers, counterparties, internal operational teams, and clients within prescribed timeframes.
* Process all transactions accurately and timely as received from sub-custodians/agents.
* Perform timely and accurate reconciliations to resolve cash and stock breaks daily.
* Close files immediately after transaction processing and reconciliation.
* Manage group email boxes and internal enquiry tools to ensure queries are resolved promptly, respecting the urgency and service levels, to achieve client satisfaction.
* Collaborate with Network Management to complete ASAs, assist in sub-custodian transitions, and resolve day-to-day issues cohesively.
* Adhere strictly to all departmental procedures, policies, checkpoints, and controls.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* Financial Services background within a Custody or Investment Bank Corporate Actions environment.
* Proven performance in a risk-based environment with a track record of risk reduction.
* Results-oriented experience demonstrating strategic and analytical thinking.
* Experience working in a changing environment, learning, documenting, and implementing new processes efficiently.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with management, clients, and colleagues.
