About The RoleJob Title: Crawler Crane OperatorREPORTING TO: General ForemanDIVISION: Civil EngineeringLOCATION: Didcot, OxfordshireCONTRACT TYPE: Fixed Term Contract, 18 MonthsBENEFITS: Pension, Subsidised Private Medical Cover, Life Assurance SchemeJob SummaryGRAHAM is currently seeking an experienced Crawler Crane Operator to support our growing operations across major infrastructure and construction projects, based in Didcot Oxfordshire.This role involves the safe and efficient operation of Crawler Cranes in large-scale civil engineering works. You will play a key role in ensuring work is completed to a high standard while maintaining strict health and safety practices.Key Responsibilities include:Operate and control Liebherr LR1160 cranes independently and safely.Assemble, configure, and dismantle cranes on-site.Check planning instructions, lifting plans, certificates, and load charts before work.Inspect cranes and auxiliary equipment before, during, and after operations.Perform daily and preventive maintenance; report irregularities.Complete maintenance checklists and work records accurately.Promote SHEQ standards and continuous improvement on every site.Report to your Line Manager and collaborate with the site team.This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged and the range of duties to be undertaken.It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.Skills & AttributesStrong safety awarenessReliable and punctualAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood situational awareness in dynamic site environmentsFlexible and adaptable approach to workPersonal SpecificationTechnical CompetenciesEssentialProven experience operating Liebherr crawler cranes in various ground conditions and working environments.Valid CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) A02 Crawler Crane ticket.
