Job Responsibilities and Requirements
As an Assistant Line Leader, your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
1. Motivating and supervising a team of operatives to achieve required production volumes at specified quality standards and minimum cost.
2. Monitoring production efficiency using SIC boards and KPI information.
3. Ensuring hygiene and housekeeping standards are maintained throughout your department.
4. Monitoring labour costs across operational areas and implementing improvements.
5. Ensuring a consistent flow of production data for KPI reports in conjunction with the Production Manager.
6. Reviewing production methods to improve efficiency.
7. Monitoring waste levels and implementing measures to reduce waste.
8. Setting up machinery daily to maximize effectiveness.
9. Collaborating with Personnel Manager/Training Officer to develop training programs and identify potential for advancement.
10. Maintaining production control procedures in line with company, customer, and FSA standards.
11. Supervising health & safety functions within the department.

Working hours: 06:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £13.05/hour during probation, £13.40/hour after probation.
Reporting to: Production Manager.
