As a Cell Engineer, you will be responsible for developing our commercial lithium-ion cell ageing qualification strategy for both first-life and second-life applications. You will do this by defining beginning and end-of-life cell conditions alongside our modelling team, writing test plans and working with test engineers and technicians to communicate test requirements, as well as analysing data, reporting progress and deep-diving into all ageing data to generate insights into key ageing sensitivities for our cell. We will need you to bring excellent communication skills, as you'll be working closely with the wider electrochemistry and modelling teams, industrial and academic partners on test and analysis activities, and test and facility teams to support testing. You will report directly to the Electrochemistry Lead and be a key member of the Battery Design team which sits within the broader Powertrain team, supporting the continued development of our in-house expertise, specialist knowledge and capabilities What would we like you to bring?
