This role is for you if…
You’re a conceptual Art Director with experience taking ideas from concept through to production. You understand how to turn strategy into great creative work that is on-brand and innovative across social media and beyond. You have a keen aesthetic eye and can deliver compelling visual treatments for both ad campaigns and organic social content. You can also clearly communicate your vision internally and to clients through storyboards, written treatments, references, mock-ups, and effective presentation skills.
You enjoy hands-on work, engaging in a variety of projects, from big-budget full-crew shoots to creating agile content with a content creator in-house. You possess practical design and editing skills that complement your ability to direct designers, editors, and influencers in bringing your vision to life.
You have a good understanding of social media from a user perspective, and experience creating content for these platforms is a plus. At DN, social media is integral, and a willingness to learn and challenge best practices is essential.
Day-to-day, you’ll be…
* Translating creative briefs into concepts for advertising, both independently and collaboratively
* Ideating and creating content for organic social platforms
* Working with Adobe Suite to produce designs, moodboards, storyboards, and other creative materials
* Presenting and pitching ideas to the ECD and clients as a social-first creative expert
* Writing creative treatments and developing campaign assets
* Art directing video and photography shoots, including post-production and design
* Developing the visual look and feel for campaigns

* You have 5+ years of experience in a creative role, either in an agency or in-house
* You possess a persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
* You have experience directing video and photo shoots and delivering assets
* You have experience overseeing and directing design work

* You can manage your time effectively to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
