We’re looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised Junior Event Staffing Planner to join our passionate Event Staffing Team. This is a brilliant opportunity to be right at the heart of live event delivery, supporting the recruitment, coordination and care of our casual workers and volunteers who make everything happen.
From large-scale, show‑stopping public events to more intimate private occasions, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time - fully briefed, supported and ready to deliver exceptional experiences.
What you’ll be doing
1. Supporting the recruitment, onboarding and coordination of casual event staff and volunteers
2. Allocating roles, preparing event materials and helping teams feel informed and confident
3. Managing event staffing administration, including data input, communications and documentation
4. Supporting staff check‑in, welfare and uniforms on event days
5. Processing timesheets and supporting payroll reconciliation post‑event
6. Adapting quickly to changing priorities in a fast‑paced, live event environment
What you’ll bring
7. Prior experience in an office or admin role within a busy environment
8. Strong IT skills, particularly across Microsoft Office
9. Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
10. Clear written communication skills and confidence when communicating with others
11. A proactive, can‑do attitude and willingness to support the wider team
12. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the event season
