Typical shift as a Reablement Worker Supporting customers who have more complex needs with personal care including bathing, toileting and getting dressed Supporting our customers in their own apartment who have a range of support needs including frailty and dementia Working closely with the care team to follow support plans, reporting concerns Help customers regain or maintain independence to live well in their own home by carrying out every day daily living activities themselves. You’ll have plenty of time for cuppas, chats and catch ups, there’s no rushing from one customer to the next here! You bring A level 2 or above, or equivalent in social care or being willing to work towards this Care Certificate or willing to complete within the first 12 weeks of employment If you’ve worked in a CQC care setting previously, that would be great! Have a positive, caring can-do attitude, and empathy to really make a difference to our customers lives Previous experience of working with support plans, recording and using information concisely and effectively Knowledge of local community and networks would be brilliant Job details We provide 24 hour support to our customers… Although you’ll work nights, we do get together regularly for training and team meetings. Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans. You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
