About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong Insurance domain expertise to join our Data Management & Analytics practice. In this role, you will partner with leading Insurance and Reinsurance clients to drive impactful data transformation initiatives, enabling better data quality, governance, and reporting outcomes.
This is a business-facing position, ideal for someone who has worked across core insurance data and processes and enjoys working closely with cross-functional business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Lead requirements gathering, business process mapping and documentation
🔹 Translate business needs into functional and data requirements
🔹 Conduct gap and impact analysis across Policy, Claims, Premiums & Reinsurance
🔹 Develop data dictionaries, business glossaries & data lineage documentation
🔹 Define business rules and standards for data quality and governance
🔹 Support data migration, transformation, and reporting initiatives
🔹 Manage stakeholder communications and facilitate UAT activities
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills
✔ 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance sector
✔ Strong understanding of insurance domain processes & data (Policy, Claims, Reinsurance, London Market)
✔ Experience working on data management, data quality, or data transformation programmes
✔ Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills
Desirable
🌐 Experience with data platforms or governance tools (Azure Data Services, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, Alation, Collibra)
🏃 Experience working in Agile delivery environments
📊 Exposure to regulatory or compliance reporting
Ideal Background
Candidates with consulting, advisory, or technology experience supporting large-scale analytics or data programmes within Insurance, Reinsurance, or London Market environments will be particularly suited.
