Role: Home Manager
Location: The Forum School, Blandford Forum
Salary: £17,388.80 per annum
Are you an experienced Deputy Manager or Home Manager in a children's residential setting, ready to take the next exciting step in your career?
At The Cambian Group, we have an incredible opportunity for a passionate leader to join us as a Home Manager on a part-time basis. This role offers progression, purpose, and the chance to truly shape young lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate a dedicated team of staff to deliver high-quality support.
* Manage team performance through regular coaching, probation reviews, and appraisals.
* Ensure compliance with The Children’s Home Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
* Maintain a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical and emotional wellbeing of young people.
* Conduct regular audits of care quality and implement improvements as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a care setting.
* Strong understanding of child development, care practices, and relevant regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and support team members.
* Capability to maintain a professional demeanour and act as a positive role model.
* Relevant qualifications in health, social care, or management (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care).

The Forum School and Residential Home is a leading 52-week residential and specialist school dedicated to providing quality therapeutic care and education for young people aged 7 to 19 with Autism, severe learning difficulties, challenging behaviour, and complex needs.
