Liquid Personnel have an exclusive opportunity for Senior Residential Support Workers to join an incredible authority, Ofsted rated good. You will be joining a brand-new home for children and young people, registered for up to 2 young people from 13-17 years old with a background of emotional behaviour difficulties and child sexual exploitation.
Your key responsibilities as the Residential Support Worker:
1. To operate as a shift leader as part of a rota.
2. Working together with social workers, residential staff, and other practitioners to implement practical and emotional support, promoting a strong culture of collaboration built through joint working and a shared vision in supporting the child
3. Meet the needs of children and young people, using a restorative approach, developing strong relationships to support children make their own decisions and actively engage.
4. Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with other services, the community, and agencies to deliver a holistic service to children with complex needs.
5. Delivery of specialist interventions and programmes.
6. Contribute to smooth management of the team and service. This might include responsibility for rota's, co-ordinating services and assisting the Registered/Deputy Manager in the management of the home in all aspects appropriate to the Statement of purpose of the Home.
