The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.
What you’ll do:
* Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
* Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
* Action Service Requests.
* Allocate/despatch tickets to support teams and service providers.
* Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
* Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
* Communicate incident updates to customers.
* Coordinate with utility companies regarding power issues affecting the network.
Who you are:
You have previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.
Key Requirements:
* Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
* Good communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
