Location: Dunwood Court, Salisbury Road, Sherfield English, Nr Romsey SO51 6GR.

Days/hours: One shift per week, alternating Sunday (week one) / Saturday (week two), 08:00-16:00, with one-hour unpaid lunch break. Additional shifts and overtime opportunities available.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated Support Worker to join our team, working alternate Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 4pm.

Your duties will be varied, supporting our independent Homeowners as needed. You should be comfortable working independently, using your initiative.

You will be a visible and reassuring presence for Owners, helping to provide security and peace of mind 24/7. You will assist in maintaining communal areas, ensuring a safe environment, and supporting activities within the development.

Working in the Retirement Living sector offers rewarding opportunities to positively impact the lives of our Homeowners daily.

About you

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer care skills, be empathetic, and enjoy a busy, varied role. Previous experience as a Support Worker is not mandatory but a background in customer service, hospitality, retail, or care is desirable.

You should be supportive, discreet, and capable of maintaining confidentiality. You will act with sensitivity and diplomacy, while also being assertive to ensure safety and security.

Basic computer skills and experience with email are required to assist with site administration.
