Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit & develop an Apprentice Project Manager to be part of CHoICE's Capital Projects Team, responsible for planning & managing significant Capital investment in the Estate, on behalf of South Tyneside & Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust.
Developing from apprentice to Project Manager, you will support the Team in broader delivery of the Trust's Capital Programme. Leading on assigned projects; managing all aspects of Design, Construction & Handover, across any CHoICE managed premises. This includes managing multi-disciplinary teams, internal & external stakeholders, Design Consultants, and Main Contractors.
This role offers a training component delivered by CIOB, leading to a Level 6 qualification, degree equivalent, recognized for Membership (MCIOB). The training will be supported by a bespoke long-term plan to ensure your development.

Main duties of the job
Based at SRH but required to work across all sites, this developmental post initially aligns with a Band 4 role during the 4-year apprenticeship, comprising 20% study and 80% practical experience. Upon successful completion, the role progresses to a Band 6 Project Manager position.
To qualify for Level 6 qualification in Design and Construction Management, candidates need:
* At least 2 A levels grades A-C (or equivalent)
* 5 GCSEs A*-C including B in Maths and English (or equivalent)
