Job Title: Marine Electrician

Your Responsibilities
* Interpret Work Specifications: Read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics to guide your work.
* Report Writing: Document your findings, order materials, and report any safety or mechanical issues.
* Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex problems with electrical equipment and systems.
* Cabling: Run cabling into ships, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
* Repair & Refurbishment: Work on electrical lighting systems, communication systems, and other electrical-powered systems on ships.
What You Bring to the Table
Essential Skills
* Electrical Theory: A strong understanding of basic electrical principles.
* Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
* Troubleshooting Experience: Proven experience in diagnosing electrical systems.
Additional Qualifications
* Electrician and Marine Electrician certifications.
* Hands-on experience with wiring, troubleshooting, meters, and cables.
* Required training: VSRA, OSHA.
Work Environment
This role involves working aboard ships, focusing on electrical systems in a marine environment. Safety is our priority, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols while performing your duties.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr. We offer a variety of benefits that may include:
