Overview
The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute (CI) is a joint venture between Cancer Research UK and the University of Cambridge situated on the Addenbrooke's Biomedical Campus in Cambridge. The Institute aims to link the laboratory to the clinic carrying out cancer research of direct relevance to patients, working to prevent, control and cure cancer.
We are eagerly searching for a Research Administrator to support Core Facility Teams and an additional group within the Institute, working closely with Group Leaders, Core Facility Heads and their teams to deliver high‑quality administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support for the Core Facility Teams and an additional group.
- Act as a key point of contact for diary management, meeting coordination, conference and travel booking.
- Provide general operational support to enable Group Leaders, Core Facility Heads and their teams to remain focused on world‑class research.
Qualifications
- Highly organised, articulate and adaptable administrator.
- Effective team player with high interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others.
- Must complete a basic disclosure (criminal records check) and a security check.
