An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Nurse to join our Cardiology team working in the Cardiology Day Case Unit.

This role will suit an experienced nurse with some cardiology and leadership experience who is keen to develop within their role.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, dedicated Band 6 nurse. The role will form part of a team of Ward Sisters/ Charge Nurses, whose role is key to delivering high quality coordinated care for our elective patients. Working closely with the Cardiology Day Case Manager you will manage, support and develop the Nursing team. As part of the team within the unit, the successful candidate will plan and manage the implementation of individual care programmes for patients undergoing cardiac day case procedures, such as Angioplasty and Device implant. You will need to have the flexibility to support across the cardiology template including our inpatient wards, Coronary Care Unit and our Cardiology Cath labs. The successful applicant will be valuable in delivering high quality care in a professional and friendly environment. The CDCU is open 6 days a week, closed at night and on Sundays but this may change in the future.

Working Pattern: hours per week
