As we continue to scale within the UK retail landscape, we are seeking a driven and commercially astute National Account Manager to lead and grow our presence with major UK grocers and blue-chip retailers.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Managing Director, the National Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with major UK grocery and high street retailers. You will drive sales, lead commercial negotiations, deliver strategic joint business plans, and ensure the continued growth and visibility of our Own Brands within top-tier UK retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and grow relationships with key UK retail accounts, with a focus on grocers and blue-chip partners
· Develop and execute strategic account plans to deliver sales targets and profitable growth
· Lead range reviews, promotional planning, and annual negotiations
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the UK retail landscape
· Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, NPD, and Supply Chain to ensure excellent execution in-store and online
· Deliver accurate sales forecasting, analysis, and reporting to the senior leadership team
· Monitor category trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to inform strategy
· Represent Rainbow Cosmetics at UK trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events
Candidate Profile
· Graduate or Postgraduate degree
· 5+ years of National Account Management experience in FMCG, ideally beauty, personal care, or related categories
· Proven success managing major UK grocery and/or high street accounts (e.g. Tesco, Asda, Boots, Superdrug, etc.)
· Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue and margin growth
· Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
· Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and strategic in approach
· Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
