Your new role
As a Civil Technician, you will be an integral part of the civil engineering team, supporting Engineers and Project Leads in delivering technically robust andmercially sound design solutions. You will be involved in producing detailed drawings, models, and documentation for infrastructure and civil engineering projects.Your key responsibilities will include:Preparing civil engineering drawings and models using AutoCAD and Civil 3DSupporting the design and delivery of site development, drainage, roads, and utilitiesEnsuring drawingsply with relevant standards, regulations, and project specificationsCollaborating with engineers and wider project teams across multiple disciplinesAssisting with the preparation of technical reports and design documentationContributing to accurate project delivery within agreed timeframes
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this Civil Technician role, you should have:Experience working as a Civil Technician within a consultancy or similar environmentProficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is highly desirableA strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including drainage and road layoutsExcellentmunication and teamwork skillsStrong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solvingA relevant qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline (HNC/HND or equivalent preferred)
